Aeroporti di Puglia informs passengers that, in accordance with ENAC Director General’s Directive No. 50 dated July 2nd, 2025, the regulations regarding passenger identity checks at the boarding gate have been updated.
Under the new directive, as of July 2, 2025, airlines are required to verify, at the gate and at the time of boarding, that the name on the boarding pass matches the name on the passenger’s identity document only in the following cases:

Aeroporti di Puglia S.p.A. has started the consultation with the users of the Apulian Airport Network (Bari, Brindisi, Foggia, Grottaglie) on the proposed revision of the airport charges and other regulated fees for the period 2025-2027, in line with the current regulation, the prescriptions of the EU Directive 2009/12 and the Tariff Models as per ART Resolution no. 38/2023. ENAC has informed that it has requested IATA to update the ticketing systems in order to reflect the new PRM fee applicable to the Apulian Airport Network, set at EUR 0.60 per departing passenger, effective from May 6th, 2025.
